to provide all
By Van Mobley
Thiensville Village President
Thank you for hanging in there through the last week. The Village of Thiensville continues to provide all necessary services, like police, fire...and garbage collection. When this is all over, thank the Department of Public Works guys for a job well-done. Remember that garbage pickup is Monday and Tuesday. Please refrain from putting garbage out for long periods prior to those days.
The Village is still facilitating in-person and absentee voting.
If you have business other than an emergency service, please put it in the Village drop box or the mail, or call the office and we will figure out how to take care of it while remaining mindful of the safety guidelines.
Some of you may have received one or more forms from the Census Bureau. These forms suggest that we live in Mequon and ask that we fill out the Census information online. We have contacted the Census Bureau and asked them why we are not identified as being "Thiensville." They haven't gotten back with us. I am not responding and will wait for the eventual mail packet that will come. I will fill it out at that juncture...and be better positioned to make sure they know we live in Thiensville. You can either go online and fill out the form or wait for the mail packet.
Check the Village web page for any new news. We will put it up as soon as we get it.
Once again, I couldn't be prouder of our Village staff and residents. I think each and every one of you, as well as the businesses you conduct, are necessary to the health and well-being our our wonderful little village. I look forward to the time when we will look back on this!
