The Thiensville-Mequon Lions Club is hosting the 6th annual Applefest in Village Park from 11 AM to 5 PM Sunday, October 3.

Applefest is a celebration of the autumn harvest and Ozaukee County's apple heritage. The event features live polka music, vendors of fresh apples and apple cider and arts and crafts vendors.

This is a family friendly event that will include hay rides, a barrel train an apple pie baking contest, a coloring contest, polka contest, Big Wheel racing and face paining.
