A free drug drop-off and shredding event will take place in Village Park, 250 Elm St., from 10:00 AM to 1:00 PM Saturday Oct. 24. There is a limit of three boxes of materials to be shredded per vehicle.

All prescription drugs must be transferred from the original prescription bottle to a plastic baggie prior to it being accepted by the Thiensville Police Department.

The event is sponsored by the Village of Thiensville, Port Washington State Bank and the Thiensville Business Association.

Donations will be accepted for Village Park Reimagined.
