Final property tax payments are due Friday, July 31. Tax payments must be made to the Ozaukee County Treasurer. Second-installment payments cannot be accepted at Village Hall.
There are several ways to pay your property tax bill:
- By Mail -- Mail a check to Ozaukee County Treasurer, P.O. Box 994, Port Washington, WI 53074. Make check payable to Ozaukee County Treasurer.
- Online -- Go to www.co.ozaukee.wi.us/144/treasurer. Click on Pay Taxes Online. There is an additional fee to use an electronic check, debit card or credit card.
- Drop Box -- The drop box is located next to Door #1 at the Ozaukee County Administration Center, 121 W. Main St., Port Washington.
- Walk-In -- The Ozaukee County Treasurer’s Office is Room 141 in the Ozaukee County Administration Center, 121 W. Main St., Port Washington. Office hours are 8:30 AM to 5 PM, Monday through Friday. Only one family will be allowed in the office at a time.
- Port Washington State Bank -- Payments may be made at any branch of Port Washington State Bank during lobby hours. The Thiensville branch is at 197 S. Main St.
For proper credit to your parcel, please include your parcel and/or bill number with your payment. For a return receipt, enclose a self-addressed, stamped envelope. The receipt also can be accessed from the Ozaukee County Treasurer’s Office website.
