The announcement from Library Director Rachel Muchin-Young said: "During these two weeks, we will focus on disinfecting the library, so that when we do reopen, the library will be a safer place for our patrons and our staff.

"If circumstances warrant, we may extend this closure. Check our website and our Facebook page for updates."

She added that library due dates will be extended until the Weyenberg library reopens.

The school district provided details about its closure in an announcement on its website.
