Thiensville's annual Safety Day will take place from 10 a.m. to 2 p.m. this Saturday, Sept. 21, in the south portion of the Walgreens lot at the corner of Main Street and Freistadt Road.
A variety of Thiensville public safety equipment, including fire trucks and police squads, will be on display.
Others scheduled to participate include an Ozaukee County Sheriff's Office K-9 officer, the Wisconsin State Patrol, Ozaukee County Emergency Management, Ozaukee County Haz-Mat, Gierach's Towing, the Wisconsin Department of Natural Resources, Great Lakes K-9 Search and Rescue and the Milwaukee Fire Bell Club.
Flight for Life is expected to land at Public Safety Day at approximately 11:30 a.m., depending on the helicopter's availability.
The Thiensville Fire Department Corp. will conduct a brat fry during the event. Proceeds will be used by the TFD Corp. to purchase equipment for the Fire Department.
