[ARCHIVED] Meijer Brings Hiring Blitz Today

Who: Meijer, a Grand Rapids, Mich.-based retailer that operates 213 supercenters and grocery stores throughout Michigan, Ohio, Indiana, Illinois, Kentucky.

What: Meijer is holding a hiring blitz event for more than 250 hourly positions for its new store in Grafton. Meijer representatives will help potential candidates begin the application process and answer questions about available full and part-time positions at the Grafton store.

Once candidates apply and complete screening, Meijer leadership will conduct interviews with qualified candidates next week. Open positions include customer service, cashiers, clerks and stocking roles. Competitive starting pay will be based on experience level and specific skills.

With the new store scheduled to open in June, the retailer is looking to attract applicants from both Milwaukee and Ozaukee Counties, including: Brown Deer, Fox Point, Cedarburg, Mequon, Thiensville, Grafton, Jackson, Slinger, Port Washington and Saukville.

Potential candidates can also begin the hiring process by applying online. Hourly candidates will find positions by clicking the by clicking on “View All Wisconsin Jobs” to Apply. Descriptions for the available positions and instructions for applying will be outlined within the posting.
