Attorney
Responsibilities
The Village attorney provides legal representation to the Village of Thiensville as it relates to the best interests of the Village and its citizens. This includes representing the Village in litigation and acting as legal advisor to the Village Board, president, Village administrator, Village departments, and appointed boards and commissions.

Legal Issues

The Village attorney handles a wide variety of legal issues including:
  • Assisting the public with issues involving the Village of Thiensville
  • Drafting resolutions, ordinances, legal opinions and agreements

Prosecution

The Village attorney is responsible for prosecuting all actions in Municipal Court and for representing the Village in lawsuits and administrative matters.
