Thiensville Village Market
opens today!


The first Village Market of the season is today in Thiensville's Village Park!

The best farmers' market on the North Shore runs from 9 a.m. to 3 p.m., continues every Tuesday through Oct. 15.

More than 70 vendors will be on-site with a wide selection of locally produced goods. There will be live music during the lunch hour. Village Market is organized by the Thiensville Business Association.

Traveling Food Truck Tour
returns to Village Park Thursday


Thiensville's Traveling Food Truck Tour is making its second stop of the season in Village Park this  Thursday. 

There will be 20 food trucks with a wide variety of food choices, a craft beer tent and children's activities. The event runs from 5 p.m. to 9 p.m. Live music will be provided by David Bruce.

The food trucks will return July 18, Aug. 15 and Sept. 12.

Family Fun Before the 4th
kicks off Independence Day 


Get your Indpendence Day holiday celebration started with Family Fun Before the 4th in Thiensville!

The festivities on Saturday, June 29, get started with a parade that winds its way through the village, starting at 10:30 a.m. Immediately afterward, members of the University of Wisconsin Marching Band will perform in Village Park.

A full day of activities will take place in the park. They include the BadgerLand Waterski Show and performances by two bands, Sawdust Symphone and SEMPLE. 

The day concludes with the North Shore's best fireworks display, which begins at dusk.

Van Mobley

Wednesday Walks kicks off this week starting in Village Park


Join Thiensville Village President Van Mobley in the first of a series of planned Wednesday Walks. The first walk takes place this Wednesday. Meet in Village Park at 6:55 p.m.

The event is organized by the Thiensville Lifestyle Coalition. Walk participants are invited to bring a nonperishable food item for donation to Family Sharing of Ozaukee County.

2018 Safety Town

for Safety Town


The annual Safety Town program for children entering 5K in fall will take place from July 22 through Aug. 2. There will be two sessions. The first runs from 8 a.m. to 10 a.m.; the second, 10:30 a.m. to 12:30 p.m. Attendance is required for both weeks. Classes will be held at Steffen Middle School in Mequon.

Registration has opened and continues until July 5 or until the limit of 42 children per session is reached. The fee is $25. Registration forms can be found online at www.village.thiensville.wi.us. Registration may be dropped off or mailed.

The event is put on by the Mequon-Thiensville Optimist Club, the Thiensville Police Department and the Mequon Police Department.

Rummage Sale Art

Village Rummage Sale
set for Saturday, June 22


The popular annual Thiensville Rummage Sale returns Saturday, June 22 from 8 a.m. to 2 p.m. Maps with addresses of all locations throughout the village will be available by June 14 at Village Hall, 250 Elm St., and on the Thiensville Business Association website and the TBA Facebook page.

The cost to be listed on the map is $10. Submissions are due by June 13. Please email submissions to robertjkos1@gmail.com. Include your name and address. Make payments to Thiensville Business Association Inc., P.O. Box 185, Thiensville WI 53092.
