Noted Milwaukee historian, author and public television personality John Gurda to speak.  The topic of Gurda's presentation is "The Making of Milwaukee."
Where:  Mequon Nature Preserve, 8200 West County Line Road
When:  Sunday, November 4th
Time:  2:00 PM -3:00 PM
 
This free event is sponsored by the M-T Historical Society and is open to the public.  This program is underwritten by Port Washington State Bank and members of the M-T Historical Society.  No reservations are needed, and refreshments will be served. 
 
Doors for this family-friendly presentation open at 1:00 PM. The M-T Historical Society’s Annual Meeting begins at 1:30 PM, and John Gurda’s presentation starts at 2:00 PM.

Dogs on Leash

When Taking your Pet for a Walk...


Just a few reminders when out and about with your dog:

All dogs must be on a leash when walking your dog in the Village.

Dogs are allowed in parks if they are on a leash no longer than six feet in length at all times and held by a person of sufficient size and strength to restrain the dog.  Read the Ordinance here.

No pets shall be allowed on the Ozaukee Interurban Trail unless restrained upon a leash not more than ten feet in length.

It is the pet owner's obligation to pick up after their pets.
