November 3 General Election


Voters have three options to cast their ballot for the November 3 General Election. They may request an absentee ballot, vote by absentee ballot in person at Village Hall or vote at the polls on Election Day.

  • ABSENTEE BALLOT -- Registered voters may submit a request for an absentee ballot to Village Hall, 250 Elm Street, by 5 PM on Thursday, October 29. An absentee ballot also may be requested at www.myvote.wi.gov. Proof of identification must be presented to receive an absentee ballot.
  • IN-PERSON ABSENTEE VOTING -- Voters may cast their ballot during office hours at Village Hall, 250 Elm Street, between Tuesday, October 20 through Friday, October 30. Village Hall is open Monday through Friday from 8 AM to 4:30 PM. Ballots may be cast until 5 PM Friday, October 30. Proof of identification must be presented.
  • ELECTION DAY -- The polling place for Wards 1-4 will be open at Village Hall, 250 Elm Street, from 7 AM to 8 PM Tuesday, November 3.

Thiensville Drug Drop and Shred Event


Free shredding and drug disposal will be offered in Thiensville Village Park, 250 Elm Street, from 10:00 AM to 1:00 PM on Saturday, October 24.

There is a limit of three boxes of paper to be shredded per vehicle. The service will be offered until the shredding truck is full.

Medications for the drug drop-off must be removed from prescription bottles and placed in a plastic baggie prior to being accepted by the Thiensville Police Department.

The event will be conducted in a drive-through format to allow for social distancing. It is sponsored by the Village of Thiensville, the Thiensville Business Association and Port Washington State Bank. Donations for Village Park Re-Imagined will be accepted.

Trick or Treat

Beggar's Night
and Business Trick-or-Treat


Beggar's Night will take place in Thiensville from 3:00 PM to 6:00 PM on Sunday, October 25. 

Business Trick-or-Treat will take place in the downtown business district from 4:00 PM to 7:00 PM on Thursday, October 29. The event is sponsored by the Thiensville Business Association.

Ozaukee County

Ozaukee County Clean Sweep


Ozaukee County is hosting a Clean Sweep event from 8 AM to noon Saturday, October 31 at the County Highway Shop, 1221 Hilltop Drive, near 5 Corners in the Town of Cedarburg. Residents can dispose of hazardous waste, tires, televisions, dehumidifiers, computers and other items. Click here for details.
