The Village Board of Thiensville is seeking residents who are interested in serving their community as a Trustee on the Thiensville Village Board. The Village Board is seeking to fill the Trustee seat vacated due to the resignation of T. Samuel Azinger. The three-year term expires April 2021.

This week's Wednesday Walk:
A hunt for decorated rocks


The Thiensville Lifestyle Coalition's second Wednesday Walk of the summer begins at 6:55 PM this Wednesday, July 22, at Village Hall, 250 Elm Street.

Rockin' Thiensville Walk. Walkers are invited to decorate a rock that will be hidden along the route. You can pick up two rocks outside Interior Garden Art Studio, 100 S. Main St. A bucket will be outside the Green Bay Road door.

Partisan Primary election Aug. 11


Voters may request an absentee ballot, cast an in-person absentee ballot at Village Hall or come to the polls on Election Day for the Tuesday, August 11 Partisan Primary election. Races on the ballot include primaries for the U.S. House, state representative, state senator and Ozaukee County offices.

In-person absentee voting begins Tuesday, July 28 and will continue at Village Hall, 250 Elm St., until Friday, August 7. Village Hall is open Monday through Friday, 8 AM to 4:30 PM. Ballots may be cast until 5 PM on Friday, August 7.

Absentee ballots may be requested until 5 p.m. Thursday, August 6, at Village Hall or at www.myvote.wi.gov. The polls will be open on Election Day from 7 a.m. to 8 p.m.

Thiensville's Village Market is open! The best farmer's market on the North Shore takes place from 9 AM to 3 PM in Village Park every Tuesday through Oct. 13.
