Thiensville residents
encouraged to respond
to U.S.Census

Residents of Thiensville are responding to the U.S. Census at a better rate than Wisconsin as a whole. According to information on the U.S. Census Bureau website, more than 75 percent of Thiensville households have completed their U.S. Census questionnaire, either online or by mail. That compares to a 62.1-percent statewide rate.

If you haven't yet replied, you're encouraged to do so soon. Having an accurate count of all Thiensville residents is very important because many sources of funds are based on population.

There was some confusion after U.S. Census forms were mailed because Thiensville residents received mail addressed to Mequon. The Village has been assured by Census Bureau officials that Thiensville residents will be counted as living in Thiensville.

For more information on the U.S. Census, please see their website.
