Thiensville residents'
generosity benefits
Family Sharing

Thiensville's Department of Public Works crew collected more than 1,200 pounds of food for Family Sharing as they made their rounds through the Village last week to collect garbage.

The food that was collected helped replenish shelves at Family Sharing, which has seen an increase in need due to job losses associated with the COVID-19 shutdown.

Thank you to everyone in Thiensville who donated.

Improvements planned for
Sunny Lane and Oakwood Drive

The Village will begin a paving and storm sewer project in the 400 block of Oakwood Drive and the 300 block of Sunny Lane.

The project includes installing a new storm sewer -- including pipes, manholes and catch basins -- from Oakwood Drive to Laurel Lane on Sunny Lane. Other work includes ditching, tree trimming and new asphalt. We Energies will replace the main gas lines in the area ahead of new asphalt.

The project is being funded by the Village's capital improvements budget. The project is expected to be completed in early June.
