Major donors to Village Park ReImagined recognized
Major donors to Village Park ReImagined are being permanently recognized for their contributions with names along the base of the Giving Tree and nearby boulders.
Workers last week finished sandblasting names of donors near the Giving Tree. The work was completed by Hilgendorf Memorial.
Donors who have contributed $5,000 or more are recognized on a boulder. A contribution of at least $1,000 has resulted in names being sandblasted onto the base of the Giving Tree. Donors of at least $250 are recognized with a copper leaf on the Giving Tree.
Opportunities remain to donate to the project and have your name added to a boulder in Village Park or the Giving Tree.
This summer was highlighted by the completion of the Port Washington State Bank River Stage. Previous improvements have included the Village Park entryway, a modern playground and updated restrooms. The next goal for Village Park ReImagined is construction of a splash pad.
